providers, daily backup, offsite storage of backup
tapes, 24 hour webcam surveillance and 24/7 security.
The Dallas
iMatrix data center is an enterprise class state-of-the-art
facility. This is not a co-location facility. Your system
is hosted on iMatrix servers in the iMatrix data center
with processing services provided by our team members.
We have N+1 Redundancy on all critical systems to ensure
no single point of failure between your application
and the Internet.

City power backed up by our dedicated diesel generator backed up APC matrix

Network and Internet connectivity:
• Cisco based network
• Multi-homing redundancy by BGP4 routing of web traffic to multiple Tier-1
backbone providers
• Dual divergent fiber out of the data center
• Each Internet provider is handled by independent routers, switches and
Cisco Pix firewalls with statefull failover
• Each provider is on a separate APC matrix UPS
• Multiple air conditioning sources including a dedicated Liebert Bandwidth
• One-gigabit bandwidth available via dual fiber connection
HP, Compaq and Intel server class systems:
• Mirrored drives for data redundancy
• MSQL server 2000 enterprise edition
• Windows 2000 advanced server in a clustered environment
Monitoring, notification
and maintenance:
• Arula remote KVM connected to our Raritan KVM to allow remote system
administration including BIOS level changes
• APC master switch to allow remote powering on/off
• Ipswitch What’s Up Gold product for monitoring and notification
• Environmental monitoring and notification that includes video surveillance,
temperature and humidity monitoring, water detection and air flow
Security:
• Daily backup stored offsite in a commercial security facility
• Building has 24/7 manned security with video security
• After hours card only access to building
• Data center requires double card and key access
• Disaster recovery mutual processing agreement
